LONE URBAN WALKS

"Lone Urban Walks" is a photographic series captured in the stillness of early winter mornings. At this hour, the sunlight sits low—soft enough not to overpower the scene or wash out the colours. Instead, it creates a creamy warmth that blends beautifully with the cool winter sky, where the blue tones feel especially gentle and pleasing.

A key challenge was how quickly the sun rose, shifting the light and making it difficult to maintain consistency across the series. These images were shot back then on my former Canon setup, paired with the trusty 'nifty fifty' at its 5.6 sweet spot, giving the photographs their sharpness and cohesive visual character.
